Springbrook Man Sentenced to Three Years for Drug Manufacturing
Madison, Wis. - John W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Jeffery L. Coshow, 22, Springbrook, Wis., was sentenced yesterday by Chief U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to three years in prison for conspiracy to manufacture and distribute synthetic marijuana. Coshow pleaded guilty to these charges on March 7, 2012.
Coshow was arrested on October 27, 2011. At the time of the arrest, officers recovered from Coshow's RV drug manufacturing paraphernalia, a stun gun, $2,000, a black SKS rifle, and a .22 caliber handgun.
The charges against Coshow were the result of an investigation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration; Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation; Eau Claire Police Department; Washburn County Sheriff’s Department; and Sawyer County Sheriff's Department. The prosecution of the case has been handled by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey M. Anderson.
